A special performance of of Bread and Starlight will take place in Church on Sunday 8th December at 6pm. This is a special, one-woman, performance of the Advent story with an original music score. It has been touring the country and was at Bath Abbey last week. Tickets are £8 - pay on the door or book in advance at www.tamworthtickets.co.uk

Then join us at St Andrew's Church in Kettlebrook on Friday 9th February 2024 for a darn good test of knowledge! 7pmm until 9pm, the quiz costs £5 per adult or £3 under 16's and you can come as an individual or a team. The entry price includes drink and nibbles. Just pay on the door.

Lent starts on Ash Wednesday, the 14th February 2024, with a sung Communion at St Editha's Church in Tamworth. The service starts at 7:30pm.

The church takes a small pause from the strictures of Lent on Sunday 10th March as we thank God for Mother's everywhere and especially Jesus' mother, Mary. Did you know that in the past, servant girls were given time off to take simnel cakes to their mothers?

We conclude Lent and prepare for Easter as we celebrate Jesus entering Jerusalem to cries of 'Hosannah!' on Palm Sunday. This year it falls on Sunday 24th March and we will be distributing the customary Palm branches and crosses at our services across the Parish (St Editha, St Chad, St Andrew, St Francis)

Picnic in the park! Well, not quite but picnic at St Francis (which is next to the park) on Sunday 7th May 1pm until 4pm. Bring a blanket to sit on and some food/drink to share around and join in the party. As well as entertainment there's a colouring competition and a fancy dress competition. Fun guaranteed!
